Terms of service

Last updated 19 October 2026. The short version: what you make is yours, and so is the responsibility for what you publish.

Using Sourcecut

Sourcecut is in private testing. It is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, and it may change or stop working while it is being developed.

Your videos

The videos, scripts and projects you make with Sourcecut belong to you. You are responsible for what you publish: its accuracy, your rights to any pictures, footage, music or voices in it, and following the rules of the platforms you post to.

Sourcecut checks claims against sources and flags what it cannot verify, but it can be wrong. Watch every video before it goes public.

YouTube

Sourcecut uses YouTube API Services. By connecting YouTube to Sourcecut you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. How Sourcecut uses your Google data is in our privacy policy.

Other services

Cloud voices, comment-to-DM tools and other services you connect are provided by other companies under their own terms.

Fair use

Don't use Sourcecut to impersonate real people, to mislead viewers about facts, to send spam, or to break the law or a platform's rules.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Sourcecut and its makers are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from using it, including the removal or demonetisation of content you publish.

Changes and contact

If these terms change, the new version will be posted here with a new date. Questions: reach us through the Sourcecut page.
